During SEC Media Days on Thursday, former Michigan QB now Tennessee Vol, Joe Milton, was asked about some of the differences between these the Big Ten and SEC...
quote:

“Guys, they may be 200 plus, right, but they’re running,” Milton said, via Saturday Down South. “Those guys are running.

“For example, my first let’s say big SEC game, I won’t mention who it was, but I was running, and I saw the goal line. I was so happy. I’m thinking that I’m going to score, right? I just feel a big old hand come across my visor. I just went with it. At the same time I was thinking, This game is real. Those guys in the SEC can run and they’re fast.”

Ohio State and Michigan fans and players since the Gamecocks, Kalimba Edwards, George Gause, Melvin Watson, Jadeveon Clowney, et al, et al, et al, threw multiple arse whoopins on'em both multiple times in the past two decades. This is nothing new. This is expected in the SEC.

When I went to the 2006 BCS national championship game, I sat in an Ohio State section. After their initial kickoff return for a touchdown (where there was a blatant hold missed), the Ohio State fans around me kept yelling “where’s that SEC speed?” Needless to say, they didn’t repeat that statement the rest of the game. It was glorious karma.

You must've been drunk, that long touchdown was a hand off to Beanie Wells

Or you're drunk writing this Olgoi. I didn't say 2007 BCS National Championship... I am talking about Florida and Ohio State. Ohio State (Ted Ginn Jr.) ran back the initial kickoff for a touchdown and the refs missed a blatant hold on Reggie Nelson. Reading comprehension is tough for some.

This is funny because same thing happened at 2007/8 nati in Nola when Beanie Wells took off for that long TD, he had a pretty sick stiff arm on Chevis Jackson I believe where he basically picked him up with his right arm and threw him off him.

Ohio St fans were say "Wheres that SEC speed?" after that play in my section
