Smokey is in good hands. My grandparents, who grew up in the depression, adopted a stray hound dog when I was a kid. They named him Early because he showed up in the morning. Early dog got cancer. My grandparents, who were so cheap they would only by off brand day old bread, would drive 5 hours to UTk's vet school every month for cancer treatments. Early lived a good long life after that.
