According to CBS News, LSU women’s soccer goalkeeper and Homecoming Queen, Mo Isom, was cut from the LSU Football team in her attempt to become their next kicker. Isom said in an interview with CBS...
quote:

“This is a pursuit, a passionate pursuit,” “And a desire. At the end of the day, when all is said and done, the thing that’s most important to me, and has been so amazing in this process, are the people who see that and have been inspired by it.”

“So, I’m gonna keep going,” she said. “I’m going to train through the spring, through the summer. We’ll see come August.”
I hope she gets a shot at making the team again.

I hope she makes the team in the fall. Then we surprise everyone by lining up for a chip shot field goal, and do a direct snap to Mo, and she throws a quick TD pass. Make history and get a lot of hype for the program.

I understand the being cut part, like she is cut from tryouts, but it makes no sense that she will continue training to see in August. isnt that kinda the point of being "cut" she no longer has a shot this year and will have to wait till next? I really don't know that is why i am posting this.

How are you cut from the football team when you were never on it?
