A very confident Diego Pavia says that Saturday's game vs. Alabama "won't be close" if Vanderbilt plays its brand of football. Per CBS:

"I don't know what they're doing, I just focus on us, but I know we've got to bring it, that's for sure," Pavia said. "The crowd, I think, is going to be a big factor in the game. But we just gotta play within the white lines. If we do that, if we play our game, it won't be close."

"It won't be close" is quite a statement. They only won by 5 at home last season, and that's when no one was giving Vandy any credit. They certainly can win this game, but there's no way this kid feels confident "it won't be close."
