As noted by Jay Busbee of Yahoo Sports this morning, ticket prices for the Peach Bowl game between No. 3 Texas and No. 12 Arizona State have plummeted. On one ticket reseller, seats could be found for as little as $19 before taxes and fees this morning...

The calendar and format of the playoffs need shifted. These New Years’ neutral site games should be the semi finals. Everything before this round should be home games.

No, making traditional bowl sites as playoff games are ignorant. The only playoff game that should be at a bowl site would be the Championship game; either Rose, Fiesta, Orange, Sugar.
