I believe this is the “cause” Ohio University is using to cover up the actual reason, which the university either didn’t have concrete proof of and/or they didn’t use to avoid a wrongful termination. Basically they’re getting him on a technicality to avoid a buyout. Brian Smith’s lawyer is pressing back on this, but it’s possible Ohio has them on this technicality.
This could get ugly/uglier. If this was a P4 school this would be a pretty big story, as Smith has won most of his games in just a short amount of time in Athens. I just hope the whole truth comes out as a lot of people need to be he’d accountable in their positions.

The university was being real hush hush on this one and the official Ohio message board was banning rumor posts. Sounds like potential infedility is the main culprit here.
The main rumor is about him being involved with a nursing student.. not sure if that’s true though. Ohio has a strong journalism program so I expect the full truth will come out soon enough.

Bowl games have always been a problem holding back college football. Hopefully more schools decline them.

They went on the greatest run in college football history. Chess from Ryan Day not checkers. Nothing motivates a team like losing. Additionally Sayin doesn’t have to worry about Heisman chatter either. A masterclass.
Ohio State hasn’t had a good kicker since 2002 (Mike Nugent).

Huge W for my Bobcats. They now control their destiny for the MAC title but will have tough games versus W. Michigan and Buffalo coming up. Both games are on the road.
