Wonder how he will feel about it after SMU loses to Clemson and gets knocked out of the playoffs for Alabama?

Timeoday•23 months

Well, Clemson lost to SC who lost to LSU. If Clemson wins both ACC teams are out.

GusAU•23 months

So, the ACC loses their auto bid?

What a dumbass.....

Lynxrufus2012•23 months

Boycott means forfeit smart guy. Forfeit is a loss.

POTUS2024•23 months

Clemson will win and I think SMU is out. South Carolina is the only team getting screwed.

A conference should not be able to increase the number of playoff participants due to the outcome of their championship game. Clemson and SMU are playing for the sole ACC spot. Some of you want Alabama out, but what if LSU was in that position? Likewise, no conference should lose a spot due to the result of a conference championship game. So if the ACC had two teams already in, then SMU should be in regardless.

Ah, Rhett Lashlee. former OC at Auburn. Coward is as coward does.

POTUS2024•23 months

How is he a coward?

I said something similar about this on the Rant a couple years ago and got downvoted all to hell but why go to ccg i it can hurt you. I can see a team refusing to go.

Indiana Tiger•23 months

If they refuse to go, they forfeit. Therefore, they should be out.

tigerbutt•23 months

Do you realize how stupid you sound? If you are the number 1 team in the country and you refuse to play your conference title game because it literally means nothing now that we have playoffs, you think that team should not be in the playoffs?

If clemson wins, SMU should not drop below Alabama, they will but they shouldn't.

Basura Blanco•23 months

We will see. Should SMU and/or Boise St lose, the CFP can either kill the conference championship game model or keep it relevant.

Indiana Tiger•23 months

What if LSU was ranked in Bama's position. Do you still believe that this is right?

TheTigershark•23 months

Who did SMU beat?

LSUtoBOOT•23 months

I hope Clemson wins by one point so we can see a shite storm.
