Multiple sources are reporting that Georgia defensive coordinator Jeremy Pruitt has emerged as a potential candidate for the open head coaching position at South Carolina.

There are reports that former Georgia coach Mark Richt has even endorsed Pruitt as a candidate.


Auburn defensive coordinator Will Muschamp and Alabama defensive coordinator Kirby Smart have also been linked to the South Carolina job within the past week.

Rumors that we're trying to poach Orgeron from LSU and lure him back to USC as DC surfaced today, too. Tanner is all over the damned place with this search. It's turned into more of a desperate scavenger hunt. His head is gonna roll if/when he fricks this up.

Even if he gets the job he'll probably just call it quits midseason after losing a handful of games.

Atleast aim for a coach that has shown he can win somewhere. USCe could have about any decent mid level coach and they aim for coordinators like Vandy and CUSA schools.
