Sub Station II, in former South Carolin DE Jadeveon Clowney’s hometown of Rock Hill, South Carolina, put this clever slogan on its marquee...

Well, Clowney and his camp aren't too pleased and are threatening to sue the owner Charlie Ruffalo. Ruffalo is planning on changing the sign, but jeez, chill out Clowney. Thank god Sub Station I stayed out of this one.

what? That was in Florida with the police that were transporting the team.

Is he trying to make money off of law enforcement the way SSII is trying to make it off of advertising his name?

So he can pose with cops and mock the system, but no one can mock him? Got it.

"Thank god Sub Station 1 stayed out of this one."

Nice touch.

Thanks gamecocks22. Haven't kept up with the story. Nevertheless, I don't think he'd be successful anyway. He is a public figure. He will definitely need some thicker skin when he gets to the NFL.

spslayto: They are not talking about him being a fast runner. They are advertising to the public making fun of his speeding tickets.

Should have said - The Jadeveon Clowney Sub - at least the motor in the microwave that we use to cook the sandwich doesn't quit

The sub shop isn't mocking him. Or is being fast something negative now?

Meh, sucks that he would go after a small sub shop in his home town...in a year or two, why doesn't he just buy it outright and change the sign out front in person?

Couldn't the sub shop say "we mean he goes fast, as in, he runs really fast"

Wish he would. I can't stand shops that do this with no repercussions.
