The Bedlam Series between Oklahoma and Oklahoma State is coming to an end. The athletic directors from both schools told Brett McMurphy of Action Network that the series will not continue once Oklahoma leaves for the SEC in 2025...
quote:

"It (playing Oklahoma) presents logistical issues under our current (scheduling) structure,” Oklahoma State athletic director Chad Weiberg said. “We don’t have any openings to play them. We’re full. Unless there are significant undertakings to make the game happen, it can’t happen.”

"Oklahoma State has shown no interest to schedule any future games in football, so we’re moving on," Castiglione said.

OU will no longer have that automatic win. Even when OSU is really good and OU has been average, OSU rarely wins. They make it close but they don't pull many wins.

This is just stupid, and I don't even care about this series. Just play the damned game, you children.

I used to work in the oilfield and lived in OKC for a few years. I (an LSU fan) even got hyped up then when this game came around.

I also saw 2 ghosts up there!

Bedlam record is 90-19-7. Worst rivalry ever

Sucks but Les Miles was responsible for 2 of the last 5 wins so it wasn't that much of a rivalry.

All this short term money chasing when all we're doing is destroying the long term earning potential of the sport.

Sad to see the direction this sport is headed. All so the people at the top can make a few more $. Was great the way it was. If it ain’t broken don’t fix it.

Why schedule a potential loss each year? Both need to schedule like Alabama to stay near the top of their conference.

This died so Texas vs A&M could live again.

Ya, of the 3 rivalries involved here. OU/OSU is the least important.
