I find that the best teams need to be INCLUDED, regardless of conference. If you aren't good enough to make the tournament, then you are EXCLUDED. Sorry, not everyone can get a trophy. The SEC and BIG 10 have the best conferences, with the best teams and they deserve more spots, especially after some of the blowouts we saw in round 1. Conference Championship games should be done away with. ....and what is all this about rivalries? That is an inter-conference issue, not a CFPlayoff issue.
Same guy is a NBA reporter that has yet to examine why the NBA as a sport is bleeding out. A real firebrand.

Just do the top however many you make it rankings. If you want to develop something like the NET rankings for the CFP, by all means, do that. But any criteria other than whatever ranking system you use go out the window beyond 4-6 teams.

All I know is they seem to be doing everything they can to make things terrible. The only demand for this crap is from corporate types looking to make money, and the current leadership will sell anything of value.

Clown can’t acknowledge the inequity of schedules/path

Inclusion will never be a fair thing in college football with only 12 reg season games
