LOL, The Dumb arse Former Big8 schools and shitty SWAC schools still haven't figured it out, OU doesn't give a frick about them, and were always out for themselves. But it's easier to make Tejas the villain, if this is all true, i wouldn't doubt if OU led this revolt from the beginning, and got Tejas to tag along.

The Big 12 North schools hated Nebraska and voted with Texas and the Big 12 South on issues which differed between the former Big 8 and the SWC.
