An interesting question relating to college football and weddings was raised on FOX 2 NEWS in Michigan this week... Thoughts?

I had mine the bye week before LSU-Bama 2019. Got home Friday night and got to watch LSU beat Bama in epic fashion. She said she wanted to have a fall wedding. I said great, you have two dates we can do it (LSU had two byes in 2019).

The worst part is that because some people do have some regard for their friend's schedules, the easiest dates for Bridezillas to schedule weddings is in September, October, and November. They can pretty much get any venue they want anytime they want because they’re a-holes who will schedule their weddings during football season.

This question is not for me. But the person who is getting married. Can they stay friends with me if I do not come. I can be friends with them.

no, look its fine. just not on the week of the LSU vs Bama game. or the auburn game, or the ole miss game too. and not on arkansas and florida either. also don't do it on the a&m game also.

My anniversary basically falls on opening football weekend every year. Sometimes the wife and I do anniversary stuff, sometimes I'm at a football game. Not really a big deal.

"whose," not "who's." This is pretty simple stuff, Larry.

Wedding venues are cheaper in the fall.

You can watch all games on your phone nowadays, so this argument is less and less relevant every year tech gets better.

Weddings during CFB season are fine. Can I suggest on a Wednesday at 4 pm? Meet at the courthouse. They will be divorced by the time that date rolls around to Saturday.

We can be friends, as long as they aren't upset that I'm not there.

I am not friend with people who do not watch college football. We know better.

it is always that one bride who hates football, or hates the fact that her man loves football. so she purposely schedules the wedding on the biggest game of the year. bc its her day and who cares about everyone else, its just a game!! hate those count bags.
