Six teams from the SEC received NCAA Tournament bids on selection Sunday.

No. 2 Auburn
No. 2 Kentucky
No. 3 Tennessee
No. 4 Arkansas
No. 6 Alabama
No. 6 LSU

Auburn and Kentucky earned No. 2 seeds while Tennessee is a No. 3 seed, Arkansas is a four and Alabama a six.

Alabama, which is making its second NCAA Tournament appearance in a row and 22nd overall, will meet the winner of Rutgers and Notre Dame in the first round of the tournament on Friday in San Diego, Calif.

Fourth-seeded Arkansas is making its 34th NCAA Tournament appearance and second straight. The Razorbacks meet 13th-seeded Vermont in the first round in on Thursday in Buffalo, N.Y.

Auburn received its highest seed since being seeded No. 1 in 1999 and will face 15th-seeded Jacksonville State on Thursday in Greenville, SC. It is Auburn's 11th NCAA Tournament appearance.

No. 2 seed Kentucky is appearing in the NCAA Tournament for the 59th time and will meet No. 15 Saint Peter's in the first round Thursday in Indianapolis.

LSU earned a berth into the NCAA Tournament for the 24th time in school history and the third straight tournament. The sixth-seeded Tigers meet No. 11 Iowa State in the first round Friday in Milwaukee.
