Good article. I'm amused at some of the non-Vandy fans that think Franklin shouldn't be considered for COY (or at least shouldn't win) because the teams he beat didn't have winning records. Hell, none of the other coaches in consideration had to completely turn around a culture of losing at football in order to be considered.

A questionable call in favor of USC and the 2nd half of the NU game and the Dores would be 10-2. Problem is many times voters do not see all the teams and games to get a better picture of who really does better.
