For us to have a breakout receiver they would have to be so good that we have no choice but to call their number. CKS whole mindset is built around ball and clock control and wearing down defenses. Which is great and works…but not an air raid offense.
I think half the shots Stet took were him just saying “frick it”.

I think it's more a case of Georgia using more two tight end sets than just about any team in America and having at least one tight end on the field probably 95 percent of the time.
We also insist on rotating receivers way more than a lot of programs, a trend that dates back to the Richt days.
Branch played fewer than half the snaps on offense last season. I don't agree with it and I don't like it, but I defer to our coaches.

Honestly think Kirby/Bobo offensive strategy is sorta money ball esque. Lots of focus on not making mistakes/turnovers. Low risk plays and execution while wearing down the other D and sometimes the fans lol.
Playing a lot of players likely an effort to keep guys around. Georgia is usually only second to ND on returning snaps and similar rankings on roster retention. Counter position would be Indiana with one of the lowest numbers last year and winning a natty..so idk.

Again, I defer to the coaches and it's hard to argue with the results, but it'd be interesting to know the number of passes we threw between the hash marks last season that travelled more than 10 yards passed the line of scrimmage. There were entire games when we had none. It's a little ironic, beecause Bobo might've been the best Georgia QB I can remember at throwing slants.
Kirby has told us that the middle of the field is where tipped passes and bad things happen. There were games last year when we took it completely out of the playbook. Kirby used to do the same thing with Fromm when Fromm was off or when we had a comfortable lead.
I just hope we have the ability to do it this year. Dirk Dawgler has told us that it was there for the taking last season, but it was something we were willing to do.

I thought it was common knowledge why we didn't throw more across the middle. It wasn't because of Kirby or Bobo. Our passing game in 2025 was very different from 2021-2024.

Because I don't like taking leading cues from little weenies who play dumb. Fact is, our offense was very efficient in 2025, but different. I'm fairly certain that wasn't strictly by choice because it was less than ideal , but it was well done just the same.
