is this potentially the best recruiting staff ever at UGA? We now have very strong connections in AL & LA, as well as SC, NC, VA, FL, etc. We've had some good ones prior but this is a pretty strong group.

I think it is without a doubt.

*Past performance not indicative of future results

However, I'd say it's gotta be up there. Looking forward to seeing if they can pull off any magic in a short month and then hoping it stays intact for another season so we can see them do work.

I remember when most here thought firing Richt would result in losing the recruiting class...

I was one. Still could. Let's wait and see. I hope it doesn't, though! Would love to see us recruit in top 5 fashion on a regular basis.

Cliffhanger title. Sure to get whacked unless you change it.

I think Kirby put a lot of weight on recruiting in his selections.

I'm hearing rumors, rumors mind you, about some blockbuster flips. Two seem damn likely.

Believe it only when I see it. Seems we go through something like this every year around this time. We end up with a very good class, but not blockbuster.

You need to be prepped for a stronger finish with smart.

I want to see how this class finishes up but it very well could be a special class if we pull in some names that are being rumored.

That's great having all of those connections in those places. I just hope they take care of business with the in-state talent.

Not that concerned with our ability to keep kids in-state. Kirby's ingrained in GA. I think we have a better SE reach now.

I'm cautiously optimistic.

The Dream Team was a big recruiting deal but didn't translate as well into on field performance as we all hoped. However, I think CKS and this new staff is going to field some pretty good results. He knows this is his chance to cement himself into a "game over - I win" career move and he's been around enough success to know what it takes.

We'll see but the Koolaide is brewing in the Squatch kitchen right now.

Dream team was good. But if we can put together a string of classes like that, we will be hard to beat with this staff.
