Don’t be so triggered by a flag

See how that works.

I would be more than happy to give it up. I haven’t bought anything for my Georgia room in several years. If you don’t think I’ve noticed the political slants in Athens you are sorely mistaken. I’ve been a Dawg fan for my entire life but i will not under any circumstance support them if they pull political non sense. It’s really that simple.

They can’t have opposing thought. It’s triggering. They might even start making up quotes if you aren’t careful.

Because you have to be an insane snowflake to give up on your team because a player was kneeling. Also the left loves players that protest

I'm not triggered by a flag and neither are the players. Stop making excuses for you being afraid to leave the echo chamber

Who brought up kneeling? Stop foaming at the mouth and read. I posted about players asking for us to NOT support them if we vote for Donald Trump. I hate to piss all over your narrative but all whites aren’t racist and all right wingers aren’t nut jobs. Last I saw there’s a bunch of left wingers shitting on cars and burning their city down over a cop unjustly killing a black man. I’d never act that way, I’d burn your shite first.

You’re 100% correct. There are a lot of really good people that lean right. I hope you’re aware there are some good people that lean the other way as well.

You 100% don't get it. I know it's idealistic but guess I'm guilty of being a romantic. Being a UGA fan, student, or player is a we, us, and them. Had an AU buddy of mine refer to a game as "a hugging strangers game"; anyone fan-enough to post on this board knows exactly what he is talking about. As they say, "it just means more".

Anyone who's played sports at just about any level knows the racially-blind bond sport teams enjoy, especially in football.

If UGA players vote for Biden, I could care less. Hell, they could warm up in Hillary/ Obama/ Biden tee shirts. I don't care.

But if you're asking me if I would support the "political actions" of kids forcing a coach to grovel because he said the N word while trying to get his kids to quit saying the N word, or forcing a coach to grovel because of a T-shirt he wore fishing, or pretending it's 100% OK to kneel during the anthem (which certainly upsets 75% of your fan base) but not OK to say you don't agree; then I choose to not pretend this nonsense makes sense. I choose to spend my precious time and $$ elsewhere. You've already ruined the romance that, in my mind, makes college football so great. It just wouldn't be the same.

So, it's not "snowflake" or "melt"; it's a rational decision that I get to make based on what I expect to get out my support for my beloved Dawgs. How you respond is your choice. And I fully accept you have every right to choose as you see fit.

No you just get upset over pointless shite. You may have had a case if you stopped at the first example but no instead you bitched about players protesting and that's when you turn into a snowflake.

You can make all the excuses you want but your bitching about kneeling makes you no less a snowflake than some idiot bitching about too many white people at the Oscars

Most racism tends to be white vs black, though blacks can be racist, usually as a response to whites being racist towards them.

This is evidence of 2 things:

1. You are a snowflake.
2. You aren’t a legit uga fan.

USG has formed a committee to explore renaming certain buildings on campuses including UGA. And it has Kirby’s full support.

quote:

Kirby Smart, Football Head Coach, University of Georgia: “As both a UGA alum and the head football coach, I fully support the USG Board of Regents and chancellor’s decision to form this committee to study these important issues. This is an important first step in the right direction to help us evaluate our history and work to bring us closer together.”

Felt it was topical to the frustrations some of y’all have expressed here.

90% of people that say this, move around to get to their seat while the anthem is going on, or sit down at home while it’s being played on the TV.

I’m always someone who will stand for it, but it’s a mutual decision that a Green Beret and Kap came to together to avoid him sitting while the anthem is being played.

Wrong, anyone who grew up in South Georgia can probably attest to this. Blacks can be some of most racist people on the planet. Just flat our unprovoked racism for no reason. Just look up the white on black crime vs the black on white crime in this country. You are sorely mistaken and flat out wrong. That whole accusing one race whole person concept is bullshite.

Dam almighty you really are a liar. Why don't you finish the sentence? The part where I say "but not OK for me to disagree"?

You on the wrong side of this one, and I suspect you are nothing but a big ole pu$$y

Ok cool - your right, not a fan at all. Never supported the team financially or monetarily in my life nor spent years upon years supporting them online. Totally correct
