If anything this is a blood letting and shouldn’t impact next season’s squad. It’s just shitty for us as fans to basically expect us to be a shadow of ourselves if we’re not in the CFP

Sends a signal Kirby doesn’t give a shite about the bowl game either. The players will follow suit.

Most "blood lettings" take place in year 1 or 2 of a new HC not year 4.

Something is outta whack here.

I guess sinking ship means something else in your world.

Talking about the team in general. Not to mention the sentiment of the fan base regarding him.

I'm not buying that shite at all. Some agent got in his head. I'd have more respect if he just admitted. He's not even a first round pick, and might not be a second round guy.

Why even go to the bowl game if the entire team is going to quit?

Rich 40 year olds in fancy suites and cars getting in a 21 year old’s head is a tough combo. Especially when they don’t have anything invested in UGA...

With that said, the NFL has an unholy alliance with the NCAA and they are walking on thin ice with this ..

Yeah, it will come to a head sooner or later. If you're a sure fire first round pick or legitimately injured, I understand. I fully understand Andrew Thomas and I can even understand Swift. I can't understand anyone else, inculding Isaiah Wilson.

This doesn’t speak very well to the culture in the locker room or the leadership within it.

ETA: any returners who miss the bowl game for stupid shite should start next spring at the absolute bottom of the depth chart. Below the freshmen. Time to enforce some semblance of discipline.

On a related note, this program needs some player leadership in the worst way. This doesn’t happen with Chubb, Michel, Carter, Roquan, etc. in the locker room.

Reed is not injured.

The locker room atmosphere at UGA is currently ungood.

It all started with all of the players witnessing fields showing out in practice and scrimmages, but getting no snaps as Fromm struggled. Right?

All I can do is speculate.

My guess is that watching a guy that the majority of the team thought/knew was more talented and that was more liked in the locker room not get a fair shake at the job and then go on to put up a historic season at OSU in year one can’t be helpful for the locker room chemistry or for the credibility of Kirby Smart with his team.

Idk about all that. I just don’t see the alpha male personalities among UGA’s upperclassmen. Several “lead by example” guys, but no enforcers.

Not to sound like a broken record, but our best vocal leader is about to play against Clemson.

Tyler Clark is sitting out. Why? I've seen him rated no better than the 21st DT in the country. He is a very late round draft pick at best, and more likely an UDFA. A guy like that should be wanted to show out at the Sugar Bowl.

Brian Herrien is another. Is he injured or did he flunk out.

The number of failed drug tests and academically ineligible guys we are dealing with is unacceptable and falls squarely on the head coach.
