Even though it sucked losing to Texas last year, it was encouraging to watch guys like Ojulari and Divaad have good games, when they were injured all season.

Who will have a good game tonight?

I’m going with Lewis Cine and Kenny McIntosh.

ETA: Remember how Brian Herrien went off last year?

Lot of good performances ruined in that game.

I think, for some reason, Pickens has a huge game.

Will require Jake to be relatively accurate...good thing George has a huge catch radius.

I lived in Texas for years and have many friends that went there. Believe me, you don't know how bad it sucked for me losing to that arrogant school.

And Pickens. I would also like to see the makeshift o-line show out.

OL is a concern. Hope this is Salyers coming out party...really just hope Warren holds serve. These guys have only been working together as a group for a couple of weeks.

I can’t pick just one. On Offense, Pickens gonna go for 150 yards and 3 TDs. Zeus is gonna pop150 And 2 TDS. Defense, Malik Herring and Jordan Davis.

I would be stunned if this happened.I think Cook has a much better opportunity to have an impact.

Jordan Davis

I think he gets multiple tackles for a loss. I know that he isnt a speed demon. But I love his push up the middle against the pass. I think that makes Ojulari and Smith better having the push up the middle.

I’m hoping they throw the ball to the damn tight ends to give Washington something to look forward to if he commits to the G. Beyond that idgaf as long as it’s a dubya

From what I watched of the Baylor team, they play a 3/3 defense and drop into zone more than man. Assume this is due to their league. The front 3 appear to be small. But are quick and make good moves to the ball. In fact, their whole defense seems small and quick. Spreading them out and winning at the point of attack will be the key of the game. We should be able to get some drive against them. As we get success in doing that, they will start run blitzing. We will need to be able to throw to the blitzes. QB and receivers need to be prepared for this. Hope they are. Will need to throw over the top few times to keep them honest.

Their offense has a nice, quick RB who seems to have good vision. QB seems solid...can run the RPO. They do some play action. They like a lot of quick hitting passes. Their Oline doesn’t appear to be giant, but they execute their plays. They have at least one WR who is a burner. I’d have a good bit of confidence with our regular season defense stifling them. Not sure what to think this game as I’m not really sure what players will be on the field.

Their defense is definitely smaller. I think Cook, KMc, and Zeus have big games as we slowly break them down and out physical them as they game goes on.

We need to see Zues get 4 and 5 yards tween the tackles. Will be a good day if he can

Yes it will. Not gonna cry if he accidentally gets 50 or 60 between the tackles on one run.

Yeah...the one guy who showed up against Texas last year is a quitter...

I think this is the agreed upon face-saving release to keep him from going out on academic or drug-test related news. Those in the know can correct me if I’m wrong. Herrien is a DGD.

Quitter or not. If we were in the playoff, we would need him.

Substance. Academic. There is some selfish behavior in not handling your business.

I agree. Herrien is a dgd. But I am disappointed like a father in a son. We have to be better if we are going to get over that hump
