His play reflected his coaching. Same as in 2017.

I wish Fromm the best. However, I don't see much from his skill set that would entice a team to draft him.

Lynn Bowden from Kentucky just drafted over Fromm.

The fact Raiders had back to back picks, and took a receiver right after that, tells me they weren't necessarily drafting Bowden as a receiver.

Bad look for Fromm.

Bowden can be used in a variety of roles. He wasn't drafted to play QB unless it's a special Wildcat package.

Why exactly did he leave early?

This will get downvoted to hell and back, but part of me thinks Kirby might have encouraged him to leave with the incoming change in offensive philosophy.

No one here should be surprised that he hasn’t been drafted yet. He is a career backup at best, and there is nothing wrong with that.

ARe you sure? Because the Raiders had two consecutive picks and took Bowden, then another receiver ten seconds later. Really you think they drafted two receivers back to back?

He would’ve been fine in a better offensive system. He was basically a shotgun QB all throughout HS and was a consensus 4* recruit. I find it hard to believe he was encouraged to leave and be a late round draft pick.

This might be a possibility. What's strange is that he probably knew that we were making changes with the offense. One would think that if he was frustrated with Coley, he would have stayed after he knew the changes were going to be made. We'll never know exactly why he left.

There's no reason he should have left early after the awful season he had.

Fromm is a joke. He gets what he deserves. I dont know why the heck he thought he had a chance in the NFL. He is AJ Mccarron 2.0. They guy should have come back for his senior year. He aint a real dawg. Aaron Murray is a the true OG.

I think a lot of teams have seen what the Saints have done with Taysom Hill and are trying to emulate it. Bowden lets the Raiders line up in a Wildcat on one play and then a regular 3WR formation on the next play without substituting.

They already have Derek Carr and Marcus Mariota on the roster. They aren't drafting a gadget player from Kentucky who can't throw to compete with them.

Lynn Bowden is legitimately a terrible thrower of the football. I don’t get the Taysom Hill comparisons at all.

He’s drafted to play receiver, running backs and/or maybe the occasional, very occasional wildcat package.

After the effort and support Kirby put behind Fromm I don’t see him doing this. Part of me wonders if Fromms confidence led to an ego problem.

Exactly and there was no reason for it.Geez,it's not like he came from an underprivileged background.

Someone put a bug in his ear.
