Burned means beat one on one. Miss State picked and dinked us in man and ran curls/settle routes under our zone. Their QB did a good job making the reads. In the second half, we started showing some more fronts and blitzing, combo and robbers. Once we messed with him and put him under more heat, he didn’t do nearly as well. Kinda similar to UF. We can’t give guys clean pockets all the game. We have made some mistakes in coverage, but our coverage gets significantly better when we don’t give QBs clean and easy looks. Thats our issue on defense.

I agree completely. Point was our guys are paying pretty well man for man compared with other units around the country.

They played their given assignments and they tackled well. The issue Saturday was scheme.

Kirby's press conference tells us he thought the others were a better option. It apparently wasn't health.

Then we need to question Kirby's evaluations like opposing fans make fun of us for because JT is clearly a better player, passer, whatever...

Did you happen to see the interview with his own dad that said JTD wasn't ready and looked bad in his scrimmage?

The WLOCP was an injury-filled nightmare. If Bennett hadn't separated his shoulder we might have won the game.

How exactly does that change anything I said?
