If we can hang on to Fromm, Stokes, Cleveland, Wilson, Rice and Lecounte (the most likely group), the team will be in good shape next year.
My opinion is that there is very little chance Fromm leaves. He has regressed this year and needs to show better numbers for the pros.

Why no mention of Rochester? He is a senior but only played in 1 game this year. He can play in 3 the next 3 games and still be RS eligible. If he return the defense will be solid again next year in every position.

Wilson
That might be the only one on the list who I could see going. Or i would understand going.
Can he elevate his draft stock? Yes.
But he is physically ready for the NFL. And a team can take that body and plug in right away and feel confident that he will be an average NFL player.

I do understand he comes from difficult circumstances so he might be candidate to declare.

You know something that I dont.
But it doesn't take much to dispel that Wilson was your typical true freshman.
He was covered up by Isaiah Wynn and Andrew Thomas.
Knowledgeable football people won't bat an eye as to that reason for the freshman redshirt (besides the obvious conditioning that Wilson went through).
As to the conditioning...Wilson is NFL ready right now. They dont care what his body was at 18 years old.

Name a few that had success in the NFL or were even drafted in the top 2 rounds.
I'll wait.

Not really the issue. Its more about gametime expirence than anything else.

He is good. Not great.
He should grade 3-5 rounds. He could go higher. But that means there is high demand for a low supply position. His talent/production should slot 3-5.
If he improves consistency, then he could move 2-3.
He should return. It is a question if he thinks the resources are present to bump his draft stock (coaches, facilities, techniques/style of defense)

I never said I follow the nfl or draft. Just the Dawgs. I conceded that you know something that I dont. You can share it if you like. Or dont. I dgaf.

Then we agree that it is a non-issue.
What will it be...about 27 or 28 starts for Wilson in the SEC against the best DL/front 7 in the country? That is more than enough game time for good film and good experience.

Fair enough. You want some sort of wager on Lecountes draft placement?

I've seen him going 15 to the a Titans in multiple mocks.
Tannehill has been playing fantastic since taking the reins in Nashville. I'm a pretty big Titans fan and can tell you that we may still draft a QB this draft but that there's little interest in spending a 1st rounder to do it. We want Tanny back next season. If we can find a high-potential late round QB, yeah, we may go that route and have him learn under Tanny.
Fromm won't go first round. He's just not playing as well this season (relative to his history). Of course, freaking Mitch Trubisky went #2 overall after playing 13 lackluster college games at UNC so, who knows.

Point being is that if he's doing some research or hopefully getting good advice
he'll realize it's not good move and he'll
much better off staying (barring injury)

I want to see Campbell at safety. He was an all American caliber safety as a junior in HS.

Good advice could be to go to the draft.
Good is subjective. The reality of whether it is good or not depends upon the draft. Physically, Wilson is ready for the NFl. Experience will be 27-29 starts over 2 years (that is enough starts for a draft prospect on the line).
Wilson isnt the typical redshirt. He isnt the typical lineman body. And I dont think he will be promised left tackle (which could provide more incentive to stay).

I'd prefer Stevenson at Nickel and move Webb to safety.
Daniel and Stokes are gone after 2020. Campbell and Ringo would make a good tandem at CB. Especially with as much game experience that Campbell will bring.

His draft evaluation may say 1-3 rounds though. Hard to pass that up.

Draft eligible guys who could conceivably leave:
Thomas (gone) - 100%
Swift (gone) - 100%
Fromm - 30% leave
Stokes (RSo) - worries me, 50% leave
Kindley - 5% leave
Cleveland - 10% leave
I. Wilson (RSo) - 50% leave, don't do it big man
Rice - 20% leave, doubt it but stranger things have happened
J. Johnson - 0% leave
Herring - 30% leave but has a lot to gain staying
Lecounte - 60% leave, tough call for the young man
