Aaron Murray has a good analogy today. Bottom line, he doesn't have McConkey/Bowers superstar receivers so he feels it's now on him to be the hero this year and he's pushing too hard.

Great vid:

Great video, I posted it in one of the other 17 Beck threads earlier. I think the takeaway is him trying to do too much. Then I just saw another video a few minutes ago of the post game with him, Jalon Walker, and Dillon Bell. Beck basically admitted it. Sometimes he needs to throw the ball away, take the check down, knows it, sees it later on tape, and needs to do a better job in real time to "make better decisions" - his words not mine.

Seems like we all know what the problem is at this point, us fans, the other players, the coaches, Beck, and Aaron Murray.

I expect more conservative play from Beck going forward this season unless we're in a desperate situation where you are required to "push" it.

Then fans will bitch we are not throwing it deep enough and have a gunslinger with a killer instinct. Bottom line, there will always be a group that are never happy. They are malignant bitches by their nature. Let’s listen in.

He's just a dink and dunk game manager. My 14 year old Braxtynn could run this offense. When is Kirby gonna finally recruit a Techmo Bowl Joe Montana?

Isn't that what Gunner was coming out of High School?

There are a few here who still really do think Gunner is the answer and that he isn’t getting a fair shake. His physical ceiling is lower than BVG and Brock was never going to start for UGA.

Kids, if we haven’t seen Stockton yet with the struggles Beck is having (even in a spot like UT used Manning against UGA) I can promise you that it isn’t because Kirby is letting Secretariat founder in the stable while Mr. Ed is out there trying to throw away games.

It appears Beck is our best option. I’m not sure what the maniacal bitching about it does, but I guess bitches have to be bitches.

Zactly. Beck has lost precisely two games as a starter. Two. Don’t understand why y’all start throwing personal insults and blaming the car he drives, the girl he’s with or his tatts, or, or, or…

I get wanting to sit him as a means of waking him up, I wanted to bench him last night in my stupor. But as CKS said, we don’t win that game without him. I feel like this slump is just that. A slump.

While we all acknowledge how shitty Beck has been (even he said so) ALL this shite can be fixed. It’s up to him to fix it. Nothing else can be done.

Maybe it’s because driving a Lamborghini isn’t about getting from A to B. It’s about Look-at-me!!! Look-at-me!!!! Just like how a tat sleeve serves zero functional purpose other than to beg the world to Look-at-me!!! Look-at-me!!!!!

So to be fair, we are just taking him up on his offer and having a look at him.

To me, NIL threw the concept of criticizing players out the window anyway. Especially for ones that live like human salt life bumper stickers while throwing 3 of the most absurd picks imaginable in back to back games
