IT it’s only the flu Dawg chiming in. Btw Trump administration (the only source most of you trust) is projecting 3000 Americans a day dying of coronavirus by June 1. Yes it’s just a hoax right?

I will say 100% of the 2020 season will be played. It's just yet to be determined how many games that actually is.

Yes, but for how long?

N95 masks with team colors for the fans, temperature checks on the way in, maybe hand sanitizer freebies...it's all good.

Sept 1 is nearly a full four months away. If we're not returning to enough semblance of normality by that point to get some crowds going, we're in deep shite.

I'd say 50-50% chance at this point. This month is crucial for perceived perception if the COVID-19 #'s are dropping and the curve is flatening. I think the number will either go to 75 or 25 % depending where perception is in mid-June. One thing going against football is the large # of staff involved. That's going to be a terrible fall if we can't see any football.

My daughter starts travel basketball with spectators being allowed in the gym in 2 weeks. It’s complete BS to think we can’t have football. This whole thing - the overreaction - has spun out of control.

Another vote for 100%. Too much $ in it for them to outright cancel the season.

As a AAU coach please enlighten me. There are no AAU events in the state of Georgia for May. Hell ,there's not even a YBOA tournament in Georgia for May. After reading your post I called the president of Georgia YBOA this morning, there's some tournaments scheduled for mid June and July but they are very tentative and far from set in stone. If you could post the contact information for said event I sure would appreciate it.

Also, how are you practicing? We're pretty well-connected in this area and we can't practice anywhere. We've even tried local churches. If y'all are able to get kids in the gym to practice basketball please tell me how you're doing it. Any info would be helpful, thanks

She plays on a travel team that is not AAU. We are playing in 2 weeks.

We are practicing on outside courts at an elementary school.

I’m in rural Georgia; things may be a little more lax around here than where you are. Maybe that’s the difference?

When I find out where the tournament is I will let you know in this thread.

That help any?

Bama and USC just cancelled their season opener. It's already happening. The Great Cuckening of 2020.

But isn’t Bama trying to arrange a game with TCU now? Cali schools are gonna have a mess as will the PAC10 as a result. If we end up only being able to do conference games does ND finally decide they’re ‘in a conference’?
