Are you intentionally being obtuse or do you genuinely believe this had no impact on his play.

Every hit has an impact on play.

It is why defenses want to hit opponents.

Everyone is hurt in week 7.

With above being the facts of physical football, how often are starters getting pulled for getting hit?
You play on.

Winners look for reasons why they lost the game so they dont make the same mistakes. We lost because Gunner couldn't score points for the middle 45 minutes of the game. Plain and simple.

I agree with the first point.
The goal is to continually improve.

But this was the definition of a team loss.
Special teams sucked.
The defense didn't get the ball back.
The defense gave up 27 points to a 1 dimensional team.
And the offense had 3 turnovers through the full 60 minutes.

Gunner did more to help the offense than anyone else on the roster. He also happened to do the most to hurt it. That can happen at the QB position. We averaged 6.7 yards per play with 440 yards total offense.

Wait until he starts assigning opinions to you that you never expressed and that don't even come close to your actual opinions.

Get out of here with this nonsense.

You know it, I know it, the Federated States of Micronesia know it.... put in Hezekiah Millender. Gunner is damaged goods.

Save Puglisi for the Ole Miss game.

Why even have a backup if youre just going to let your QB1 piss away the game

Maybe because he would make the situation worse than QB1?
I’ll give Pugs his credit and flowers on those very nice three players that he came in on when gunner got hurt, but he hasn’t shown that he could sustain that or not make it worse. This whole pension QB1one thinking of QB 2 spill is ridiculous just bc gunner was off one game.

Yeah. Wouldn't call that long one very nice as the receiver had to jump for the over thrown ball. Unless the wind affected it .

I don’t understand why the starting QB is the holder on kicks. With over 100 players on scholarship now, surely that job can be effectively handled by someone else

I found the additional place kick attempt that we screwed up without Gunner.
It was the TN State season opener.
We pulled Gunner from the game just after the first quarter.
Near the end of the half, we attempted a field goal with Drew Miller holding and he botched it.

TN State took the favorable field position and made a 37 yard field goal before the half
