Brother get real. Everyone in the stadium knew Gunner was injured.

Gunner had 5 bad plays the entire game.

If we won, no one would have said anything (we won a ton of games coming from behind last season).

Get over yourself. It is possible to lose a game and not blame injuries for the loss.

Nah, everyone would be saying "we won despite Gunners 3 turnovers and costing us a FG. SEC fricked."

And I'm not blaming the loss on injuries. I'm blaming the loss on leaving an injured QB in the game that doesn't even know when he's supposed to be in the field. That's on the coaches not the player.

Right.

One is blaming the injury. One is blaming the response to said injury.

Are you trying to say that Gunner was not injured and played one of his best games? What even is your arguement here?

That is 2 questions.

Honest answer.
Gunner was not injured. He played. This is football. Everyone plays hurt in week 7. Injured players sit on the sidelines.

Gunner had 5 bad plays out of about 60 snaps.
4 of them were very bad plays. And for that reason, it most definitely wasn't one of his best games.

Losers look for excuses after a loss.
Gunner had no signs of a concussion during the game.
Gunner had no signs of a concussion after the game.
Gunner had a stinger. He had a neck compression after the first carry landing on his head.

I don't know why conspiracy theories and excuses are so popular after a loss.

I mean just last week former 5 star QB was benched at the half and didn't sustain any injury during the game.

Is it really your position that it is uncommon to bench a struggling QB in college football?

Comparing Gunner Stockton to Bryce Underwood is pretty incredible. Gunner had the fourth best Heisman odds and was number 2 in the country in passer rating heading into the Auburn game. Bryce Underwood has been a historically shitty quarterback and is so bad that he'll have a special place in Michigan football history.
