Apparently Florida people are swarming Feldman's tweet with the dumpster fire memes.

They can't wrap their brains around the fact that every staff move Kirby has made this off-season gmhas been an upgrade.

Florida people still have not recognized that the first step to recovery is admitting they have a problem.

We are screwed. You guys remember how many recruits have said how important Marshall Malchow was in making the decision to play for us??? Yes. As many as you’d think.

Pretty vital recruiting asset who has been with Kirby since 2016. Definitely not a nobody.

Yet Kirby let him walk? Next you gonna tell us how he really hated losing Coley?

Fact: if the guy was essential he wouldn't be leaving for the same job

Didn’t he get in a bit of trouble?

I’m not sure we can overcome this.

Lol so sensitive. I have no idea why he left, maybe Kirby wanted him to, but that doesn't mean what I said isn't true.

I don't think he was responsible for that mess.

This was a pretty big shock to those in the program, definitely not somebody you want to see leave

Purely anecdotal, but I've never heard dude's name before today.

Apparently dude has been here since the start of the Kirby Era (from Kipp Adams article in Deloach letter today):

quote:

One of Kirby Smart’s first hires at Georgia in January of 2016, Malchow has led one of the best-recruiting departments in the country. Georgia just two weeks away from reeling in its fourth consecutive top 3 recruiting class and Malchow’s fingerprints were all over that success.

Yet Kirby let him walk out the door?

I'm sorry but I'm not buying it. The guy was obviously good at his job, but why make a lateral move for the same job when we could have afforded (if we wanted to) to keep him?

Either he worships Coley and went with him, or while he was good at his job, he is replaceable and UGA didn't wanna fork out to keep him.

Im going with the 2nd ideology.

Then why did he go? The lateral move doesn't make any sense.

There's nothing we couldn't/wouldn't match or beat if he's that valuable. It sounds like he didn't give us that chance. I'm curious as to why. Was he unhappy?
