We all knew through the season that there was something missing this year. Offense was herky jerky, defense not up to snuff, drops all season, can’t effectively run like we’re used to, the Bama game was wild, getting blown up by Ole Miss, playing lights out against TX and then going to 8 OTs to GT and giving up shite tons of yards to teams we shouldn’t.
It’s been a wild year of UGA football. Hate to see it end but like the prospect for the future.

With Searels, Bobo, and Coley all preemptively coming Back? I don’t

At least you are consistent

I know for simple people it seems like you have to blame somebody when things don’t go your way. But sometimes shite just happens and the other team wins.
Maybe they had a better lunch, maybe their hotel had better mattresses, maybe they were more motivated or God wanted them to win. Or, maybe there were 3 or 4 key plays that turned the game. A bad call, a turnover inside your own 20 or in their RZ, a dropped pass coming at a running receiver moving through space at 20mph or a missed assignment on a KO return.
The reality is that the coaches for the team that won the SECCG after the hardest schedule ever are probably pretty good at their job…especially given some of the challenges this team had this year and some of the close calls. But you can’t go to the well too many times and this afternoon ND was the team that came out with more points.
It sucks but it happens.

This narrative will have to be revisited eventually. Turns out the SEC kind of sucked this year. The conference has embarrassed itself in the postseason.

I'm not optimistic.
I don't think Kirby will make the hard decisions to replace our offensive coaching staff and I don't think we will have millions in NIL support to pay top offensive players.
I'm just glad we won 2 NCs before the doodoo hit the fan.

I’m still of the opinion that it’s all about jimmies and joes. We will always have a good defense , we’re good at QB and TE…we just need some of the young receivers, OL and RBs to step up and we’ll be fine. With NIL though depth will always be an issue for everyone.

I think most agree with this with the caveat that it's applicable in the rare game when you have multiple turnovers, a coverage bust, etc. What we've seen from this team has not been confined to an isolated game but a trend. Multiple games with turn overs, dropped balls, sub par play from the OL, inability to run the ball. I don't care how you dice it, that is the responsibility of no one but the coaches. I'm not a Bobo, Searles, or Coley "hater" , but in the real world people are judged on their performance/product. Those 3 coaches produced a sub par product and are responsible for that product. It's that simple. No hate. No animosity. Just facts.

Until we see this for two seasons I don’t think it’s a trend. We got caught in a talent gap exacerbated due to injuries and an over reliance on Beck to make things happen with his arm.

I won't argue that, but again who is responsible for addressing that discrepancy: the coaches.

True but all they can do is try to stack players and hope they don’t leave, grow into the role and don’t get hurt. We had to deal with all three this season.
I’m not in love with the offensive coaches BTW but there were issues all year with this offense that may not be in the coaches.

Having 3 losses in a season seems like a lot these days.

We won the sec but honestly at bo point did I feel like this team had what it takes to win it all
When beck went down it was certain.
Even if we did sneak past ND....then you have to get through Penn St and most likely Ohio st
