It's snowing in North Alabama right now. 27 degrees and that is expected to be the high for today. Going down to 9 degrees tonight. Get ready Atlanta! You'll get this tonight and tomorrow.

If the temp doesn't drop here in North Ga, it ain't going to do shite here. It has risen to 46 currently. This stuff is supposed to be here in a couple hours. Don't see it freezing here.

Let me guess, you must be Glenn Burns? Dude this front of precipitation is very thin....fast moving. The temp has dropped a whole 2 degrees in an hour. It's currently 45 with rain falling. By the time it's cold enough to do anything where I am, it'll already be gone.

The current temp is 5 degrees above what was predicted at this time. I don't think you are going to understand that.

You really are thin skinned aren't you. I bet right now that it doesn't do shite where I am. It's 45 and raining here. I have lived here my whole life, and the temperature has never dropped that fast.

I can bet with you right now that I'll be right about my weather before you will be. You keep following those computer forceasts, as they are always right.....just like that last snow.

I think they said we would get just a dusting....that is in a NOAA weather briefing that you don't even have access to, that I attended. We ended up with 11 inches of snow btw...

Is there time to get to Old Greenbrier for hush puppies and BBQ? I would gladly get snowed in with several pounds of their pork.

You don't live where I do. I live in the mountains on the east side of the state. Cold fronts take a little longer to take hold here because of pockets of warm air. Forecasts for here are hardly ever accurate when it comes to snow.

The predicted temp on that weather channel page for us is currently 39. It's 45 here instead. Those pockets are still holding on.

I am sure the north west corner of the state is going to get snow....maybe a good little bit of it. But if we get any, it won't be much.

Not today. Most of Huntsville and Madison is shut down. The new Toyota/Mazda plant will be just past Old Greenbrier. Owners are talking about expanding to seat more people. When the city/county start widening the road to 6 lanes it will be a bitch to get there so I'm going to go in once a week until then. And that's a 90 mile round trip for me. Love their hush puppies.

I'm seeing mid 20's in Northeast GA with snow after midnight on my weather app, may be wrong, but I doubt it.

Glad I live 500 feet from the Gulf of Mexico in a condo, lol, cold but not like that ;-)

Got about two inches of snow and that was enough to close the local schools and government for the day. Tomorrow it sounds like the schools may be closed again but otherwise it is supposed to be back to business as usual.

But it will be cold: 9F in the early morning hours.

I don't live in Georgia anymore, but when I went to work on Friday morning it was 59 outside. When I left, it was 23 and an ice storm. shite can change quick. Doesn't happen that drastically very often, but it can.
