What we did last week. Come out,and throat punch them into oblivion from the first whistle.Establish a dominating game plan, and never let off our foots on their throat. We owe them an asswhooping Behring the woodshed style.Let's send Butch Jones packing early on...

UT will be looking for that big play in our first offensive series which is a good thing. We should proceed to ramming the ball down their throats in a long, balanced, sustained drive that begins the process of wearing out their defense.

We will blow the doors off of them if we can get up 14 - 0 early. Their fans and team will give up once they get down early - just can't let them get any early momentum. I'd bet you money they will try to run a trick play in the 1st half (onside kick, WR pass, etc.) to get any momentum they can.

We need to do a walkthrough of the field first and make sure there aren't any traps to take out our players knees.

That sounds so sexy...

I think the key to this game will be ensuring that we don't give up any cheap, early scores to UT. Playing at home with their backs against the wall, they'll come out swinging.

I don't want to Fromm (or Eason, for that matter) to have to play catch-up after getting behind 14-0 early on.

If it's at least a close game going into halftime, we should be good.

Yeah, i'd like to see us slow the game down and grind it out. If you're the more talented team, I think this is the best approach. Line up and hit them in the mouth, and give the game a slow burn. Just don't let off the gas.

Like you said, the last thing we want is a couple bullshite plays. That's the worst stadium to be down a couple scores. I don't want to rely on our passing game to bring us back from a 2-3 score hole.

3 more days and we get revenge against those toothless inbred sister frickers

With a balanced mix of run and pass.

Against Miss State, we ran for 203 yards and passed for 201. If we can keep executing like that, defenses will stay loosened up against our run and vulnerable through the air.

I would hate for us to go conservative. Hasn't worked for us in ages against bigger, more physical SEC teams, not with the middle of the pack offensive lines we've had.

Am I the only person more worried about the next game we play in the state of Tennessee than the one this week?

Didn't they have like a 20 point comeback against GT?

Don't think they were ever down by more than 2 TDs... I was at the game with my wife though, so my memory could be a little fuzzy. pretty sure it was 21-7, then 21-14, then 28-14.. then catch up then OT periods...

Probably so since everyone is focusing on Tennessee right now....lol

But in all seriousness, Vandy has come to play this year, other than the Bama game ??
