Poor Dabo can't score a touchdown. That was friggin' awesome. So many Dawgs with sacks.

Amazing that so many on this board thought the game was gonna be some type of shoot out.
Gotta admit I was one of those. I thought our defensive line would do better against their OLine than their Dline against our OLine, but I had no idea it would be that much of a difference.
I also thought Uiegelelei would be more poised and polished, and he would hit our secondary for several big plays. Our Dline kept him on his back and and he was running scared all night.
I'm glad I was wrong.

The second best thing to our defense last night was when espn graphics department mistook a shoe on the field for a penalty flag. And Herbstreit had to step in and talk about a shoe.

With the way the flags were flying, I’m surprised they didn’t throw a flag for illegal touching of said shoe

I’m glad we have 4 weeks to tune this offense up before AU. Defense is ready

It seriously looked like Lanning went to a Buddy Ryan School of Defense over the offseason. Blitz after blitz after blitz after blitz....just a beautiful thing and something we haven't seen in recent seasons. It's a perfect adjustment to the "new style" SEC pass-heavy offense and we have the speed and athleticism to pull it off. If teams try to run the ball, the front four and LBs are so damn fast and stout that you aren't going to run on this defense, either.
I'll be curious to see what we do against a more mobile QB. That could be the only thing that makes us back off on the pressure a bit but I have faith we'd still perform well just using a spy.

I am shocked it wasn't a shootout. 2 great defenses. I'm still really wondering what is up with the Clemson qb. I haven't checked the Clemson board but I'm sure they want to see the backup.

Nah DJ is a good QB. Oline got worked all night. He was never able to get in a groove. Not having a back like Etienne changes it for him as well but credit to our boys for causing havoc.

Watched the game he played last season against ND and came away impressed. Poise, accuracy, good arm. I know it sounds homer-ish, but I just think UGA's D is THAT good.

How can Bear Alexander not want to play on this defense?

Front seven looked great, but the secondary exceeded expectations. Other than the PIs and and that one pass to Ngata, they were mostly lights out.

256 last week against #3
165 yds this weeks
ZERO TDs allowed

Clemson only had 180 yards. Unless the 256 was suppose to be something else?
We had something like 256 yards on offense last week.
