Lineman just to the left of Gurley, as he ran through the line, was holding. No idea the #

I just rewatched for my own curiosity and I still don't see a hold on the play. If someone who saw the hold will post it, I'd appreciate it.

The ball should of changed hands after the 4th down stop. The rule states the inside of both polls should measure exactly 10 yrds. The ball wasn't touching the pole. Should of been first down Uga. That call will be discussed with the SEC & it's officials in the coming days.

Mason pass looked like grounding to me. He didnt even throw beyond the LOS and the closest receiver was at least 5 yards away.

I think Mason would have thrown it over the end zone but when he ran to the right as soon as he turned around the USC defender was already almost on top of him. It appeared to me that Mason had to get rid of the ball so quickly that he didn't have time to get set so he could throw it over the end zone and he did what he did.

What I am not certain about is the holding penalty that was called on Gurley's 59 yard run.

Even the TV announcers said during the replay that the penalty shouldn't have been called.

That one bad call cost us the game because if we got that touchdown the momentum would have switched to Georgia.

Maybe we should have played it safe with 3 runs by Gurley and if he doesn't score then at least the clock would have been eaten up and we could go for the tie.

The final measurement appeared to be just short of the pole but the TV announcer said that the tip of the ball doesn't have to reach the pole but just the last link in the chain. I've never heard of that before. Could someone give me a clarification about that?

Even after the game one of the sports commentators said Georgia won that game.

Anyway, it was a typical UGA/USC game.

Oh, and frick Spurrier!!!

Not sure if they did the Vandy game last yr but they did do the SC last year in Athens and were equally horrible.

It's the worst crew in the SEC (Including Penn Wagers) and I cringed when I saw them at the beginning of the game Saturday.

The officiating crew had a meeting in my hotel Friday night. Maybe I should have paid them off...
