The middle of the field was pretty wide open on Saturday...ALL day.

Same for the ND game. We don't throw over the middle so it makes sense the D will shade the sideline/ corner routes. It's been there a lot, and we don't take advantage.

I think it’s also what happens when all you ask Jake to do all season is throw some safe reads downfield against defenses that are sucked into stopping the run but then you have to throw 52 times in a game just to keep pace and the OL can’t protect and he starts forcing shite instead of finding his best option.

This play is just the culmination of everything wrong with our offensive philosophy. It can work when everything works but we leave ourselves no margin for error when we lost the trench game and don’t account for it in our schematics

This... It's exactly why so many people were screaming at us to do some different things earlier when we had the chance to test out this offense... Instead, we decided we'd be fine to "do it when we need to"... which clearly doesn't work.

I'm not sure what this team will be going forward... They've got a lot to re-invent over the next 3 weeks... between the UK game, bye week and then UF.

Absolutely bizarre decision to keep running up the middle at Kinlaw.

Reminds me of the Ole Miss game back in 2016 when they were atrocious on defensive plays outside the tackles and we didn’t run a single toss sweep or anything along those lines until we were down 45-0.

I did not record the game or watch any replays but I had no idea he was as open as he was. Fromm, what was going on??

Pruitt was on to something when he said Jake Fromm has a three second clock in his head.
