So you can't bet on games after the coin toss, but before kick? I'm not a gambler; this is a legitimate question.

I don’t think any books have ever taken this particular bet about tQFG ever in recorded history .
So you have a point. But. Also if they were taking this bet I’d sure you’d have to place it before coin toss

I think the realization of what we have lost on defense is going to set in rather quickly. Not saying we lose but there’s going to be grumbling early and often. We got spoiled badly last year and aren’t used to seeing other teams score points. On the other hand the pressure is off, “1980” is dead, and we can have a rebuild year.

More concerned with the experience lost than the talent. Just needs time to gel.

I wish this weren't accurate.
But it is.
But it is.

I dont even know where to start with this trash post, but I will figure it out.

The defense is still going to be really good. It may not be in the best ever discussion like we saw last year, but it'll be plenty good enough to handle Oregon.
Remember, this is still an Oregon team who lost twice to Utah in a three week span by scores of 38-7 and 38-10. 2021 Utah doesn't even remotely compare to 2022 Georgia talent wise.

eeehhhhhhh
I think we will have a "normal" kirby smart defense like we saw in 17/18/20. 19 was an elite defense especially against the run and 2021 obviously goes without saying. Just becuase this year's won't be the best we've ever had, it's not like we're going back to the grantham era.

I think they will be just fine once they start to gel

Not a fan of that start time that early in Sept.
Hot as balls and it’s a holiday weekend. Late night is ideal with all of the country watching

And that should be more than enough with the offense we're bringing to the table.
Games might be a little bit closer for a little bit longer, but there's no reason to think we'll be anything less than what we've seen each year since '17.
And like others have said, winning the national title removed the monkey from our backs and should make everyone in the fanbase a little less triggered from game to game

I think we may be similar to 2018.
We were replacing atkins and roquan.
We werent stout on the interior line until midseason when jordan davis emerged (and we dont have that type of player now) and we struggled at ILB both against mobile QBs as the extra runner and against the pass.
We have struggled to replace guys before (although 2018 has been a minute)

Guess you never figured it out huh ? Dumbass. Just some a-hole talking shite on the internet as per usual with half the people on this board.
Never said our defense would be bad but having three shutouts that should’ve been more like 5-6 shutouts bc some loser coaches scored points in garbage time in our third string defense ….you think we are going to have that again with what we lost? Get real a-hole. We are going to give up some points this year as compared to the season we just had.
