I understand his role during the game. My question was directed to his daily activities.

Good question cause I have come to expect Georgia to come out unmotivated and unprepared, then find a way to out talent the opponent...

I don't know what his schedule looks like every day, but the coordinators and position coaches carry out the day-to-day installments of the game plans and practice routines. I assume CMR plans each week and then delegates assignments to the other coaches to implement.

He also deals with the media and political crap internally with the program.

beating UT, UF, LSU, USC, and hopefully Tech is at least something positive.

UF and UT were down this year. LSU, USC are decent though.

So what will Kentucky bring in and place on the table?

The only thing I know is that they shut down ASU and *Isaiah Crowell pretty well earlier in the year.

If my Dawgs (yes I covet them) come out sloppy and uninspired this Saturday I will then go on a wild and meaningless tangent spewing fries and brimstone in all directions.

Any Georgia kids on the Kentucky team?

Why would you spew "fries ... in all directions?" Sometimes the D makes me nauseous, but I've never projectile vomited.

Quite a few guys from Georgia on the team. Several starters. We're like Georgia North.

Bud Dupree, one of our starting DE's is from Irwinton.

Fred Tiller, a starting DB is from Homerville.

Raymond Sanders, our starting RB is from Stone Mountain.

Ashely Lowery, one of our starting Safeties is from Cleveland.

Daron and Zack Blaylock are both from Marietta. They're Mookie Blaylocks sons.

DeMarco Robinson, a starting WR and kick off and punt returner, is from Ellenwood.

Khalid Henderson, a starting LB, is from Mableton.

Tristian Johnson, a sees a lot of time at DT, is from LaGrange.

Kevin Mitchell, a starting OG, is from Winston.

Joe Mansour, starting kicker, is from LaGrange.

Eric Simmons, second string CB, from Atlanta.

Also, tons of guys that don't get much time or are redshirting... Ronnie Shields, Alvin Davis Jr., Jordan Watson, Jabari Johnson, Josh Clemons, etc.

That's pretty amazing when you think about it. I remember the Lagrange kids signing up a few years ago.

I take it Kentucky is excited to come in and showcase a lot of home kids who want to play in front of friends & family this Saturday.

I hope our team is not moping like some of the dweebs on this board or 'we be fricked!

look forward to talking football with you Catfan81.

Go Dawgs sic that cat!

Yeah, we've always recruited Georgia well, and gotten some studs out of the state. Wesley Woodyard, the captain of the Broncos defense, was one of those LaGrange kids too.

Obviously we're not taking any recruits away from UGA or GT, but sometimes we land some stud kids that were overlooked in the state, like Bud Dupree on our current roster.

I'm sure our players will have a lot of friends and family there. Hell, I'm trying to make it over from Atlanta for the game myself. You'll probably kill us between the hedges though. Joker just didn't leave us much in the cupboard.

Hoping for a good injury free game no matter the outcome.

Wow - that's insightful. The University of Georgia football team is a team here at Georgia? No frickin' way!

Another stunner - he's going to do his job and expects the players to do theirs.

I guess there's Confucius, Plato, and Richt.

I'm not sure how we recruit against them. We've had pipelines to LaGrange and Stephenson for a while but our current stuff doesn't really have any connections in Georgia. Most of our big recruits in the 2014 class are coming from Ohio. Guess we'll see how that works out.

I had to look up where Homerville is. I spend a little time in Cordele and Albany, but I've never been there.

Homerville makes Waycross look like Gotham City. I'm amazed a coach could find his way to Homerville from Lexington -- he must have been on his way to the Okefenokee.

Kentucky has the same problem in football that Georgia has in basketball, no tradition of excellence. Not that we are excellent in football by any stretch of the imagination but we do have a reputation for sending a lot of talent to the NFL.

He's a Joker recruit. Joker probably got lost, saw a stadium on game night, and said what the hell...
