The amount of turnovers in the second half was rediculous.

Scored 19 points in this half. Just unbelievably frustrating.

That was the play out of timeout? Everybody stand around and shoot one from half court. Get the f out Fox.

Letting Turtle Jackson go ISO when we have to have a 3 is a bold strategy.

Calls timeout this time....guy still launches up a contested 3 from 6 feet behind the arc. This coach blows dick. Fire Fox, Fire Stricklin, keep Kirby

Shocked to see we had 11 turnovers and our opponent only had 4. Shocked, I tell you.

Yeah, no wonder he didn't call timeout last game.
Thought pick and pop with Yante and Crump (or Turtle) was guaranteed.

I can’t wait for a new coach... Crump, Hammonds, and Claxton deserve a better future.

You forgot push McGarity to retire sooner rather than later so we can actually have a chance at making meaningful hires for basketball and baseball.

Not sure why we aren't playing Ogbeide in order to cover Williams.
When we did this Williams missed both shots and fouled out. Also would have saved Yante’s legs. I know Ogbeide was in foul trouble, but he needed to come in with 10+ minutes left. Had an incredible game against Tennessee last go round too.

I still think Jeff Caple would be a phenomenal hire.

I think he’ll take over Duke soon enough.

Thats about as dumb as the previous poster not being able to spell his name correctly.
A guy that hasnt been a head coach in 7 years and didnt even win 60% of his games in 9 years between VCU and Oklahoma is going to be the next Duke coach?
Funniest thing Ive read in a long time.
Capel is a Georgia type of hire, not a top 3 program in Duke.

Yes, how weird that the guy who knows the program, will be able to recruit there, and takes over whenever Coach K goes out would potentially be the coach if he retires.
Clearly the dumbest thing ever...

Will be interesting to see what Duke does when the time comes. Very likely they keep the job within the Duke family. Quite a few former Duke players/coaches out there.

No one knows since Duke hasnt had a coaching change since what 1980?
Other top programs have just gone out and gotten the best candidate that they think will help them win(Kansas, Kentucky, Indiana, UCLA). North Carolina is the only top program that has a guy that is theirs and that was luck more than anything. Williams was already one of the best in the business at Kansas when he came home.
The Duke tree isnt great. Amaker is good at Harvard, but you wouldnt bring him to Durham from there. Wojo is ok at Marquette. Collins is just ok at Northwestern. Dawkins failed at Stanford. Quin Snyder? He's in the NBA now. Mike Brey? Probably the best candidate, but still, he hasnt been ground breaking at Notre Dame. Hurley never coached for K, but is a Duke guy, and is doing good this year at Arizona State. Capel hasnt been a head coach in 7 years and had his ups and downs at Oklahoma. Doubt you would want that in Durham.
No one really knows, but I would bet Duke will go after a Greg Marshall or Billy Donavan before going the family route. Plus, when is K actually going to retire? He is 71 and could probably coach another 5-7 years.
If we think Capel is the guy, then we have to offer him, and I think he would take the job. I still want Dan Hurley though.

Everyone seems so frustrated and pissy about the last 2 games but I am honestly elated that we will finally get a new coach. Fox is a tumor.
