I feel like we're generally pretty active on the boards, but we have a ton of height again this year and Hammonds seems like he attacks the glass really well.

Claxton needs to get in the weight room!

Hopefully this FT shooting is not a sign of things to come. Hovering around 50% as a team.

We had two guys that were really active on the boards. Tonight we’ve had 4-5 guys very aggressive to the boards.

Curious how people who have been like the new renovations.
They're nice as hell. Not there tonight but have toured the building since it was completed and they really did as good a job as could be done with Stegeman. Actually looks respectable inside now

Looking at the schedule for conference play, and it looks pretty nice for us as far as finishing high in the conference. Teams we play twice are:
Auburn, SC, UT, UF, and LSU.
Florida is really the only decent team out of the bunch.

Good to see Houston Kessler is still having an impact on our current players

Is Bryant as bad of a team as I'd expect? Is it actually promising to beat someone this bad?

Yes they were very bad...but what more can you expect than to be up 40 with 10 Mins left. They did all you’d expect them to do.

I actually thought Hammonds and Maten were really good and things to come. Overall, this team is BIG and does look pretty athletic. It's up to Fox to utilize the strengths of this team... I think you saw some of it with the press and up tempo... IDK... I wanna see them against a team with a pulse.

Hammonds and Hightower are different level recruits in terms of overall athleticism. They are quick and Claxton has a ton of potential.
A few more recruits like those three and we’ll be where we want to be.
In a way I was surprised at how little Juwaun Parker played but with his achillies injuries I wasn’t really that surprised. I really want to know what’s going on with Jordan Harris.

Yeah what the hell is up with Jordan Harris? I guess he isn’t being disciplined but also hurt?
Yante is a treat. Enjoy him, it doesn’t get better in CBB

I think this team could be pretty good if Turtle shows marked improvement from last year. It seems like he’s struggled to really find his comfort zone but I think he is the X factor that will determine the ceiling of this team.

Fox keeps on saying he isn’t doing what he needs to be doing. I thought I read somewhere that fox said he wasn’t practicing as he needs to. Reports have all given the indication that he is 100% healthy.
Turtle is definitely key. He has to shoot it well against good opponents.
I was more impressed last night by our defense and rebounding. They didn’t shoot it well but our defense was still improved. We looked much quicker than previous years and we were much more aggressive to rebound. It helps having a 6’4 PG and a 6’7 SF. Last year we were 5’10 at the PG, 6’3 at SG, and 6’4 at the SF.

just turned on the game to see we are losing at home to "USC-upstate"- never heard of these guys. If we lose this game, fox needs to resign.
