SAVANNAH, Ga. (WTOC) - The University of Georgia will be without at least one Bulldog when they play for the national championship Monday night.
Uga X, the team’s mascot, will not be traveling to Los Angeles for the title game.
The Seiler family, of Savannah, has confirmed that a cross-country flight would be too difficult on the nine-year old bulldog named “Que.’’ The Georgia mascot has been the Seiler family dog for more than 50 years.

Does Que have kids yet? Send one. We need a representative!

Going back some here but I do recall one of UGA's cousins filling in for a game. Like, Late Dooley years. I want to say after the game Coach Dooley mentioned how well he did filling in for an injury

I mean there was Russ, who was the interim mascot turned UGA IX that we had before Que.

He looked like shite last Saturday. My wife took one look at him and his fricked up eyes and called it out. But 9 is like 112 in english bulldog years.

WTF. No Uga should not be an option. Can he not abdicate the throne for a day? Or just go ahead and pack it in Pope Benedict style? Don’t like this one bit.

We had one that lived to 12. Has to be some kind of record.

Probably wasn't 100% pure. Just a little bit of pit-mix in them will extend their lifespan considerably.

Apparently it's due to California not allowing live animals indoors at a sports facility.
frick California. This should be the last time they are allowed to host the CFP Championship.

I've been friends with the Seiler family all my life. Swann and I are about the same age.
Que has never liked flying. As he's gotten older, he really doesn't do well at all. He wasn't going in any circumstance.

Then why wouldn't the family just say this?
