But our offense is/was trash. Maybe we should have lecounte play qb with rest of defense following suit, playing both ways

Honest to God if our offense had a pulse our game would have been much better! Our D just ended up getting tired after the offense failed to respond. Our D was really good until they couldn't keep up anymore.

If Kirby and Lanning continue to stress the havoc plays, next year's defense could be phenomenal. I'd still like to see us really unleash the dogs on an opposing quarterback a bit more often.

This season also shows how hard LSU's offense worked during the offeason. I don't think you get this much improvement in one offseason just by changing the scheme. Those kids put forth a monumentous effort.

Lawrence too. Clemson has been very impressive.
If anything, LSU has the advantage of having played some of the toughest teams in CFB to get where they are.
