like 2 or 3 years ago, me and a buddy went to a game on december 30th against some shitty team (i wanna say delaware state). we were doing new years in athens and came up a day early to settle in, go to the game, and get a chill night out with friends before the chaos the next day. like 6 friends stayed at home like bitches and made fun of us for going.

we were quite literally the ONLY TWO students there. sat in the front row of the student section and sprawled out. won the $50 gas card and the pizza give away by default. chilled, ate the pizza, and left a little early to start drinking. not sure ive ever been happier with a decision.

The entire university needs this win. Highly competitive basketball would only help football as well.

Your telling me the TV exposure wouldnt be good. A kid that is being recruited to play football watches an incredible game at stegman and it doesnt help. Not to mention a second sporting bringing in big money???

definitely a huge game tomorrow. Free for students plus they are running an 8 dollar ticket promo tomorrow online and the game is on ESPN. Would expect a large crowd. Will look better on TV after the 12 minute mark when upper deck fans can fill in the lower section.

I'm nervous about foul trouble and turnovers with Arkansas playing style. Would be a very impressive win. Go to LSU, to Vandy and home for Florida after. Tough opening group. 2-2 would be really good, 3-1 would huge.

I think all the non-conference games were free with student ID, but all SEC games are $2.

However, not really sure how loud a student would be anyways if he went "for free" as opposed to coughing up the $2......

I'd rather have the students willing to spend the $2. If you dont go unless its free, you probably arent making any noise at all.

We need a good start to the season so we can get some fannies in the seats for the Florida game on the 17th...

Game is on CBS & I think we have a lotta football recruits visiting that weekend & I'm sure they'll take all the recruits to the game. A good start with a big, loud crowd on National TV would be awesome...

Good point, that is a huge game. If we were to win today and somehow win a tough game @ LSU Saturday we'd definitely be ranked at that point. Fired up for tonight, if you're going be loud!

I've seen a couple of tweets from UGAAthletics or something official with the Athletic Department that says they're free for the Arky game for students. I think they're really trying to get as many people out as they can considering its on ESPN.

what is a "valid" student ID these days? Do they scan it or just look at it?

I have mine from when I was an 18 yo incoming freshman still, but idk if it would ever work to get access into anything anymore.
