God owes us about 20 years worth of good will.

This is a start.

Just win. I don't care if it's by 1 or 20. Every win is huge.

Does this possibly move us to the other side of the bubble or is our season pretty much beating Arkansas?

College basketball is about wins and losses. Doesn't matter how you win, you just have to win.

And we're definitely still on the wrong side of the bubble. Need to beat Arkansas.

If we beat Arkansas, things become VERY interesting. If not, our chances are probably officially gone.

But no pressure

Gotta beat Arkansas and win 1 is the SECT, imo. The SECT is in my opinion, the Arkansas game is fact.

They are VERY interesting now....

Wrong. If we lose to them on the road, then win 2 solid games in the SECT, we are right back where we are...

Depending on what the other bubblers have done this week we either are in or are still in the same position. If we lose to Arkansas we are back out would probably have to go to the SEC championship to get in.

Our team has developed more since Maten has gone down. Guy are stepping up and we are getting greater production from Pape and Wilridge. Still need to improve defensively but oddly enough we are playing some of the best offensive basketball that all season. If we can get in the dance with Maten 100% we might could do a little damage for a round or two.

Coincides with more threes being taken because of yante....hmm

Those kick outs by Frazier to the corner and someone actually hitting an open three was awesome.

ehen yante comes back our offensive priorities should be finding an open three first, and getting it to yante on the block secondly. That open three could be yante though, so not trying to devalue him. Plus we really need him on the boards.

Ewing Theory.

Also, I really feel like Yante needs to take more threes. He takes around 1.5 a game at 47.5%.

I'd take him shooting four a game at 40%.

Win 2 more games period and we have a legit shot. Arkansas at their place on senior day coming off a loss for them will be a mighty tall task.

Unfortunately tonight other bubble teams did their part. Tech won last night, Illinois beat Michigan State, Wake Forest beat Louisville, USC won. Basically all stayed status quo.

overall, yes. because of his defense and rebounding....I do like us shooting more from the outside though. I think the theory could apply to the offense.

Oh definitely agree...but we are shooting it better now than when a Yante was healthy and we are turning it over less. I like we would try to force the ball to Yante 3 or 4 times and commit turnovers that way.

If we continue this when Yante comes back we might be able to win that close game against South Carolina, Kentucky, etc. in the SEC.
