Why didn't Fox take a timeout to draw something up?

I get letting JJ keep his rhythm and momentum, but he should have brough that back out and got a screen at the top of the key.

That last possession was arse. I feel like I've said that a few times over the years.

I am no longer impressed by close losses to good teams. I've seen too many of them. After awhile, all it means is we can't beat good teams. Which means we are not a good team. Period.

We've got Frazier, Maten (except for this game) and at least a decent supporting cast. 6-8 in this conference with this team is just sad, imvho.

Valiant effort without Yante, sucks we couldn't finish them off.

Fuk.

Great effort. Especially without Maten. Tough year, but I'm proud of the players for still showing up.

Cue the haters.

The absolute worst outcome. Fox saves his job with another painful loss. We needed a win or a blowout loss.

I really liked how the team played tonight without Maten, but it's clear that Fox is incapable of winning a close game. We never look capable with our last handful of possessions in any of these games.

oh, I also want to say that the rebounding fricking killed us tonight in the second half. They got like three off. boards in a row with a minute left at one point.

Killer.

Edwards is finally getting some confidence, which is encouraging for next year.

Also Pape slashing and hitting a three was awesome. Like his game a lot going forward.

This is quite honestly one of the worst rebounding teams i've ever seen. No boxing out what-so-ever.

nd so what if we bith about losing to Kentucky without our best player?

Plenty of reason to be mad about losing this game; the rest of the team showed up and went toe-to-toe with a good team and were right there at the end but, once again, came up short. Again.

Blame it on Fox. Blame it on Yante missing (weak sauce given that he went out in the first 2 minutes and we still kept it tight). Blame it on Stegeman being old and the fans not yelling.

We didn't need Yante to win this game tonight. Would've helped but we could have and almost did win this without him. But we came up short for the umpteenth time this year and the millionth time in Fox's tenure.

All I know is I'm sick and fricking tired of every team I'm bound by birth and a masochistic fetish to support living and dying by the phrases "so close," "what if," and "maybe next year. Find a way to start winning.
