I’m not going to be sold on Zues until he breaks a long one. Until then he’s just Richard Samuel 2.0. He has it in him but I’m still waiting for him to avoid a defender instead of trying to run them over.

I've always said he needs more touches but not necessarily more carries. He is not a between the tackles RB at all.
I was thinking more along the lines of screens, swing passes, and wheel routes. Something to get him matched up on linebackers in the open field.

Are you serious? The kid is coming back from tearing ACL’s in both knees and has been trying to get back to true 100% percent for 2 years. This is a confidence builder and a process....remember Chubbs process.

He did show some lateral moves I haven’t seen all year. He just needs to get in a rythym and the feel for playing. I think he’ll step it up next year.
