how are we gonna go about submitting our ballots? can't post them here....maybe everyone emails deeprig during a certain time frame sunday night/monday morning....deeprig posts our submissions later Monday night.

I say we do 1 preseason ballot based on how you think they will finish (not how they start based on last year and an easy schedule). Then start week 8. We can do a secret email ballot for the official committee list (consensus list post Monday night), then on Tuesday night, Deeprig posts the committee members ballots.

I'd rather do it out in the open than by email.
The real play-off czars will be debating each others input. And we should too.
I want to submit my ballot and then tell Christopher what a crock of shite his is, for example. Then we can revise the same post we made our initial ballot in up until a certain deadline if you want after which deeprig will then start the math......

I thought of that too. Maybe we create a google group or whatever it's called to discuss. Then someone can copy and paste the transcript on here after our official ballot.
Then, no one would influence or muddy the thread we discussed in, but later, people could see how we discussed it and came to the end result each week.

Disagree. Open forum. Open discussion. If any member doesn't feel comfortable defending his ballot to the masses, in the event he is challenged, perhaps he shouldn't be on the committee. The simplest answer to a heckler is "I'm on the committee and you aren't, so go frick yourself".
Not interested in google groups and such.

We should maybe allow non-Czars to weigh in and vote for which czar's ballot they most agree with.
That winning ballot would then hold the Power of three ballots!

This contradicts both what the committee is doing and what Deeprig wants to do.
I'm fine either way, but their should be 1 ballot released, then. We will not see each Czars picks on the committee....it will be 1 ballot released.
I have no problems open debating on a thread. I just think jackasses will try to completely ruin it....I guess we can start that way and always move it to an email/google thingy if it's too much trouble.

Already had something similar bouncing around in my head.
The People could eliminate someone's ballot as well.
The possibilities are endless, really.
Let us not get ahead of ourselves. We are still waiting on several members of the board to confirm their participation.
