That could cause issues with security and entrance lines. I love the dude, but I wish he would chill and stay safe until after the election.

Good. I hope the stadium is only 10% seated at kickoff.

Why would Tuscaloosa, AL be unsafe for him?

Invest 97 is sitting off the coast of Mexico and strengthening. Will likely become Helene soon and could be a Cat 2-3 hurricane as it moves north through the gulf. AL/FL border is where it’s aimed now, for later this week. Will then move up through Alabama going NW, which would put Tuscaloosa in store for shitty weekend weather

James Spann says little to no effect for Saturday games in Alabama, in the OT Lounge storm thread, with screenshots.

Haven’t seen that thread, but I agree. Looks like late Thursday landfall and should be gone by Saturday. I think what he was saying is hopefully Trump cancels because the threat of weather. These things can slow down, strengthen, leave more widespread rain, etc.

Last run said Cat 4 and will push to the West once inland due to high pressure off SC coast. Could very much frick up game and Gulf coast areas.

And bring allll the rain. Haven’t had any in 4 weeks. Entire hurricane came through and not a drop. Driest it has been in 4-5 years.

I live in Gulf Shores, 6 miles inland. I might be heading to Douglasville Ga on Wednesday...

My mom’s retired there and we are keeping an eye on it. Latest model this morning has it pushing further East and not being affected by the other system as much, which would mean a potential hit in Big Bend and could move into Atlanta area. That also means it could intensify more. This is one of those everyone from Gulf Shores to Tampa needs to watch

I’m more worried about this hurricane affecting the game than Trump
