Three parter:
1. What pitcher threw Hank Aaron's record breaking home run? (#715)
2. What did that pitcher and Hank Aaron have in common?
3. The home run was hit into the Braves bullpen and a relief pitcher caught it. Who was the relief pitcher?
2) Both were black fellows
Other than that, I only know that it was against the Dodgers because they play that clip every 5 minutes and Dodgers players were giving him high fives and back pats as he rounded the bases

They all three might be correct, but what I had in mind for what they had in common was they both wore #44.
Outstanding, though! I don't think I have come across anybody that knew Tom House was the pitcher that caught the ball until I gave them some hints. Buzz Capra also went after the ball and was a little peeved that House got it.

Looked it up and Downing was actually born in Trenton, New Jersey. Great guess, though.

This is correct, too.

This was a good idea, Jeff. Something to get through this week and stop some of the bickering we were all getting into.

Ohio State have as well.
They’ve never even played in the peach bowl and probably would’ve lost to an SEC team if they had
Looks like just Bama and Miami.Pretty impressive stat for the canes.

In 1928, Babe Ruth hit the longest home-run in world history. It sailed over the bank behind left field, landed in a box car, and traveled 752 miles all the way to Joplin, Missouri. Where did he hit this ball from?

Was this at a exhibition game?

Some sort of preseason exhibition. Not a league game

Pounce de Leon Park
I believe I heard this one a while ago.

Correct. Ponce de Leon Park or Cracker Field. Home of the Atlanta Crackers.
The park is gone but the two magnolias in center field are still there today. Back in the day, if a ball failed to clear them and bounced back on to the field, it was considered to still be in play.
