Wouldn’t be surprised if we get Downs and maybe one of their corners as well.

I read Downs is an Ohio St. lean. It was rumored he didn’t come here originally because his dad doesn’t like the way UGA recruited his brother.

It looks like Muschamp wants to watch his younger son playing at Vanderbilt more this season. At least he will still be an analyst

Yah, that must be the case. Seems like we are seeing more younger coaches get burned out. He already had 2 HC positions that didn't turn out too well and he made a ton of cash. Ray Goff split with the money he made and has been a very successful businessman.

I'd imagine that for someone like Muschamp with 800 million dollars in the bank, the idea of spending a big part of your life on the road recruiting wouldnt seem like the thing to do.

When I saw the pic of him in Julian Humphrey's parents living room a few days after Christmas, begging a teenager who's already on the team not to leave, it looked pretty miserable..

Richt was the first UGA coach in like 50 years to coach somewhere after UGA.

That covers four coaches:

Dooley.

Goff, to my recollection, has never been linked to another job.

Donnan supposedly had the UK job but backed out, and he supposedly expressed interest in NC State but wasn't in the mix.

Richt.

Considering Georgia’s biggest recruiting weakness in the last few years has been the 85 man scholarship limit, this hurts less than you think it does.

A comment that made me laugh on reddit.

What job is open worth leaving?

Schumann to WA?

Not saying he’s leaving…just that this move has the smell of bringing in somebody just in case Schumann takes a HC position.
