Certainly wouldn’t trade Big 0 for Gilbert now. Clearly Kirby chose correctly during recruitment as well. Just get the man some balls.

Weird decision too. He was a spring practice star. Gets hurt and has surgery. We have several DBs leaving. He decides to not compete at all.

Maybe. Billingsley was a bit of a problem child at Alabama (according to Tide fans) They still have Latu, so Washington may not go there. I am hoping he sticks around for the spring and we can get him more involved. Losing so much on defense we will need to more powerful up tempo offense and he could really help.

According to insider guy on other board he lost trust in the staff. Whatever that means. Insider guy also close to his family supposedly and I think has some bias, but says he was one of our better DBs.

As top billin says, big o is in denial about converting to tackle, he is already one hell of a blocker but with his range, he owns outside rushers. Just swallows them. Long rich NFL career with a transition.

He’s not far off. He’s really athletic but he’s not what I would call twitchy like modern tight ends. Easy for us to say switch though. He’s probably played TE or receiver or athlete his whole life. Switching to tackle not as easy as just gaining 40 lbs.

He is a great blocker. Damn near like an extra tackle now. He has quick feat and a huge wing span. I think the question for him is his route running and ability to get separation. I don’t know one way or the other on that other than I never felt like he was open a lot. I didn’t watch film enough to really see it one way or the other. Definitely saw his blocking and it is great.

Seems like Bama is hemorrhaging players to the portal. By comparison, so far, our attrition doesn't seem as bad. Reload and next man up!

I was told a couple weeks ago by a current student (my friend’s daughter) he is enrolled and taking classes. That was before the pic of him at the celebration.
