Beck will announce if he's going pro long before the bowl. Most say we will know in next couple of days.

I know nothing about how the portal works.

This transfer portal window starts today and is open for 30 days, ending on Jan 2nd. There is also a window in May, that’s only 15 days.

There will be a lot that happens in the next two weeks, because there is a dead period starting Dec 18 for early signing.

Yes, it does suck for teams. They now have to basically recruit kids to stay, normal recruiting, then recruit portal kids….

Sure is a sign Beck stays, but if not we are screwed even with Riola (sp) and Puglisi (sp) coming in.

Don't forget about Gunner Stockton

How in the hell do you manage a roster when you don’t know what holes you may have to people leaving for the draft?

Now you know know why coaches of Kirby's caliber get paid $30k/day to answer these questions.

Any instant impact nose and cb should be on top of the list. Safety is taking a hit, might want to look at that as well.

s it me or is that kind of a reach? I'm sure the only thing any UGA fan knows about the guy is the TD he scored against us ona broekn coverage, but looking at his stats there's nothing that really pops out.

Had 2 really good games against wake and unlv, who I can't imagine play good defnese. The rest of his season outside those 2 games he had 15 catches for 228 yards and 2 TDs over 7 games. I trust the staff completely but something tells me we could/shoudl be doing a lot better than that if we're reaching into the portal.

He's not very good but he's got track speed. Legit track speed. That said, he's nothing like Ladd so people thinking he's a Ladd replacment are going to be dissapointed.

Cam Ward will be available....nice dual threat from WaSt.

Not really a dual threat QB. He's a good little pocket passer. Dual threat would be a guy like Matthew Sluka.

Really unproven and doesn't have near the reps Beck had coming into this season and even Beck needed time to really come into his own. If Beck leaves - we should be looking to add someone from the portal.

That makes no sense at all. That's the situation for all first time starters. Why would Bobo be interested in someone outside the program while Gunner is entering his 3rd year.

The way McConkey had his head in his hands on the sideline during the GT game made me wonderful if being a football player is in his future.

Last year I thought he was Trayvon Walker 2.0, this year, not as much

We had more seniors on the interior of the Dline this year, but none that I would consider were that disruptive.

Jalen being disruptive last year opened more opps for Mykel

My theory at least...

I don't know any insiders or have any insider info, but I've been worried about Mykel Williams this season. His future in the NFL isn't being a down lineman and crashing directly into linemen.

The way he's playing now is stunting his development. Travon Walker's development as a pass rusher was stunted at Georgia. Obviously he went number 1, but he wasn't trained enough as a pass rusher.

Hopefully Williams is just posturing for more NIL retention money, but I couldn't rally blame the man if he transferred.

Eh what? Just because we didn't deploy him as a pass rusher often doesn't mean he wasn't developed into one. It definitely wasn't stunted.

I think it started with Ledbetter…that spot is never going to have gaudy numbers. Fantastic players that don’t have video game stats, but just get it done.

The issue with Mykel this year has truly been the lack of a disruptive force on the interior of the line who demands doubleteams. People expected 1000 sacks this season, and he might have gotten the if JC was still in the middle of that DL

Now that I've had a day to think about it, the Vandagriff transfer doesn't say so much about what Beck is going to do, it says more about his status vs Stockton. At no point did Bobo draw up a play in non-garbage time to utilize Vandagriff, but he did for Stockton. Sure, BV got the garbage time snaps as the #2, but Stockton got a non-garbage snap on a play design during the year, against an SEC opponent in the first half when the game was very much in play.

None of this necessarily means anything, but they are signals.

No, he didn’t. That was Brock.

You dumbasses really ride them recruiting links and stars. Dude was a 3rd stringer - We would be absolutely retarded to not look at the portal if Beck goes to the NFL. This is just a dumbass take.

You are obviously not a Jacksonville Jaguars fan.
